It is becoming more and more difficult to choose a reliable financial partner, as a lot of scammers have divorced on the market. Today we will talk about Platinumhitech, a rookie scammer who, judging by the reviews, has already managed to swindle a lot of traders. You will find out why it is dangerous to trust this pseudo-broker and what kind of deception scheme he uses.

What you need to know about Platinumhitech?

At first glance, the scammer site looks decent: it is available in several languages, and the information is sorted into sections. However, in some places the translation is crooked, and some links are not clickable. Not surprisingly, its cost is 2 rubles.

There is an “About us” section on the site, but there is no useful information in it. The scammers kept silent even about the project launch date, but boasted that they know exactly what and when to trade. They are afraid to show their faces, knowing that their offspring will drown as soon as a flurry of revealing reviews falls upon it.

The check showed that Platinumhitech has existed since the beginning of April 2021. Judging by the reviews, the scammers scammed several thousand users in less than six months.

The hero of our review claims that his main office is in Switzerland. Customers can also contact the UK and German branches, he said.

We did not find any registration documents, so we decided to find out if the creators of the scam project are telling the truth. It turned out that in the registers of legal entities in Switzerland and the UK, Platinumhitech does not even smell.

A search in the database of legal entities in Germany also did not give any results, which means that the scammers simply took the first addresses they came across and indicated them as the place of “registration”.

We also checked the indicated phone numbers, and it turned out that users identify calls from them as fraudulent and write negative reviews.

The "User Agreement", of course, is drawn up in such a way that investors themselves are to blame for all the troubles. We will show some of the most interesting points:

• Platinumhitech has the right to refuse transactions, service and refunds for no reason (judging by the reviews, scammers often use this right);
• scammers completely disclaim responsibility for the losses of traders that they have suffered through their fault;
• disputes that have arisen between the hero of our review and clients must be resolved in Bulgarian courts.

The last point is of particular interest, as it implies the registration of a company in Bulgaria. We decided to find out if Platinumhitech is in the register of legal entities in this country, and, predictably, found nothing.

Does Platinumhitech have a license to provide brokerage services?

The pseudo-broker does not say anything about its permits. Since it is allegedly registered in Switzerland, Germany and the UK, we decided to look for information in the databases of the regulators of these countries. It turned out that the German and Swiss regulators did not issue licenses for financial intermediation to Platinumhitech.

The British regulator FCA is one of the most respected organizations, about which users leave only positive feedback. Not only does she not work with swindlers, she also publishes blacklists of dangerous scammers. The hero of our review is also on such a list.

For investors from Russia, the most important document that testifies to the honesty of a broker is the license of the Central Bank. Moreover, according to Law No. 460-FZ, without it it is forbidden to provide financial intermediation services on the territory of the Russian Federation. In the reviews, users write that Platinumhitech works with Russian traders, but the fake office does not have permission from the Central Bank.

Platinumhitech offers earnings on contracts for currencies (digital and fiat), commodities, indices and stocks. Often scammers set a high entry threshold in the hope of “cutting down” more money, but the creators of this scam project acted smarter: they adhere to the principle of “better a little and constantly”, so the minimum deposit is $250. They lure their victims with such promises:

• fast execution of transactions (26 ms);
• author's trading platform;
• more than 2500 trading assets;
• transaction copying service;
• stop loss and take profit functions;
• technical support 24/7;
• Lots of deposit and withdrawal options.

The following types of trading accounts are available:

Leverage of 1:200, and even more so 1:500, is an indicator that Platinumhitech does not bring transactions to the market. All of them are held only within the platform. The victim is “drawn” the necessary numbers so that she brings even more money.

What reviews do customers write?

Judging by the reviews, the hero of our review managed to deceive many domestic and foreign users. All of them unanimously complain about their naivety and ask other investors to ignore Platinumhitech's proposals.

Review translation: “I lost 250 crowns that I invested in Platinumhitech. They showed me the trading platform and how the amount in the account grows. After that, the money disappeared. I wrote to the company but received no response. They are scammers."

How does Platinumhitech cheat traders?

One of the main methods is using AnyDesk. This program is installed for remote access to a PC in order to configure the necessary software, but scammers use it to steal banking information and withdraw funds from accounts. The need to install AnyDesk is argued by scammers by the fact that the platform needs to be updated, and a specialist can only do this remotely.

The second option is commissions. Scammers demand money for everything: for account maintenance (they write about this in the “Client Agreement”), for withdrawing funds from segregated accounts in the UK, for bank services. Naturally, the user will not see any money, and if he does not understand in time that he is dealing with scammers, he risks losing much more than the initial deposit.

Our verdict

Platinumhitech is a fake office that operates outside the legal field. She has neither a license nor registration, and ex-clients write only negative reviews. If you do not want to become the next victim of insidious breeders, do not approach them with a cannon shot.
