Finding an honest broker today is not as easy as it seems. There are hundreds of offers on the Web, but not all companies can be trusted. Fraudsters use the most sophisticated divorce schemes, the victims of which are naive traders. Low commissions, bonuses, instant withdrawal of funds, a wide range of trading instruments are not all the “advantages” that pseudo-brokers use to attract the attention of users. One of these "tempters" is SBS-LB. What is this organization, and what facts indicate that we have before us pure scammers - we understand the review. 

"SBS LB": an overview of the basic information 

SBS-LB positions itself as an honest and reliable participant in the financial market. It allegedly has been operating since 2017, and at the moment hundreds of thousands of clients are actively using its services.

On sbs-lb.com, a lot of broker advantages are indicated, including the presence of several licenses.

But is everything said true? Of course, when writing the review, we carefully checked the relevance of each indicated fact, and we managed to find out a lot of fun things. 

Let's start with the founding year. SBS-LB claims to have been operating for 4 years. We checked the sbs-lb.com domain, it really exists for more than four years, but it is alarming that the country of its registration is Ukraine, and the registrant is Germany, while the company itself is registered in Cyprus. This confusion is needed by swindlers, most likely to cover up their black deeds. 

The second nuance that alerted us is the lack of reviews written earlier this summer. That is, despite the fact that the site was registered in 2016, it is quite obvious that SBS-LB began its activity only in the middle of 2020. And before that, most likely, this resource belonged to another company. We encountered such cases repeatedly when writing expert reviews.

“SBS-LB” positions itself as a popular organization with a huge number of registered users, but this is a lie, and the number of requests for the name SBS-LB, which is only 554 impressions per month, is a direct confirmation of this.

And if you look at the history of queries in Yandex over the past few years, it turns out that before July 2020, no one entered the name of the company into the search engine at all, respectively, neither about the fact that it has been actively working since 2017, nor about its “mega- popularity” is out of the question.

Also, when writing a review, we could not ignore the verification of the SBS-LB license. The scammer indicates that his activities are regulated by the IFSC International Financial Services Commission. We went to the International Financial Services Commission of Belize, entered the name of the company and got no results, which is not surprising.

The same applies to license number 15/344/TS/34. There is simply no document with such a number on the regulator's website. This allows us to conclude that it exists only in the imagination of the bred.

When writing the review, we decided to check this information as well: “The company is authorized to conduct business and operates in accordance with the requirements of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (license number: 121/17)”. To do this, we used the register of Cypriot organizations, and again, at the request of SBS-LB, we did not receive anything. 

In addition, we decided to check on cysec.gov for the Cypriot license number. Of course, the search result is null:

In preparing the review, we did not find any information about the company's management. As for contact details, SBS-LB offers a feedback form, but judging by the reviews, you can wait forever for a call back. 

You can also call the managers in person or send an e-mail. However, as soon as it comes to the withdrawal of funds or the emergence of other problems associated with trading, letters and calls simply begin to be ignored (and the reviews of deceived traders are a direct confirmation of this fact).

And this is where the fun begins! When writing a review, we decided not only to analyze the design and interface of the site, but also to compare its design with other companies. It turns out that the SBS-LB resource is a clone of Idea-Me Global (perhaps both of these brands belong to the same scammers). They have everything as close as possible (except for the slogans), even the license number! Here is how it is stated on the SBS.LB website:

Judging by the feedback from users, becoming a client of the site is quite simple. To do this, you just need to fill out the registration form by entering the following data:

• surname, name;
• E-mail address;
• phone number;
• password;
• promo code.

Actually, that's all. Fraudsters, as a rule, do not bother with the verification procedure and data processing for some time. 

We also analyzed the “User Agreement” and “Refund Policy” of SBS-LB. Firstly, these documents seem to have been screened on other resources, because we have just a few photos in front of us. Secondly, if you carefully read the provisions, you will see that scammers completely disclaim responsibility for the loss of your funds. This point is the most disturbing:

When preparing the review, we monitored a number of independent resources, forums and came to the conclusion that there are not so many reviews about SBS-LB (we explained the reason above). All traders without exception accuse the SBS-LB pseudo-broker of fraud. For example, in most reviews, users talk about the impossibility of withdrawing funds:

"SBS-LB" - pure scammers! Scammers lure naive users with “super-profitable” offers, encourage them to make a deposit as soon as possible and, as a result, appropriate all the money invested. When a client wants to withdraw funds, his account will simply be blocked. And that is not all! Further, the managers of SBS-LB, judging by the reviews, may be asked to pay certain commissions, taxes, insurance, allegedly in order to unblock the account. But all this is just another trap. When the scammers realize that you will no longer be depositing any funds, they will blacklist your number.

“SBS-LB” is another “kitchen”, which, using standard fraudulent schemes, robs traders. The absence of a license and other documents, false facts about activities, negative reviews, a clever “User Agreement” that removes any responsibility from the broker, a sudden blocking of user accounts - all this and much more indicates that we are facing real scammers. Do not be fooled by promises and bypass these scammers on the tenth road!
