Passive income is becoming more popular, and at the same time, the number of scammers who want to cash in on investors is growing. BraveInvest promises clients "mountains of gold", but in fact it is a banal hype project. How these scammers deceive people, and what they write about them in reviews, read in today's review.

What you need to know about BraveInvest?

Fraudsters promise users simple earnings on digital currencies and claim that they themselves invest money in them and get a good profit. If that were true, they should have invested a lot of money in their website, as it is the “face” of the project. However, the cost of the site is only 19 rubles. You can immediately see how much scammers actually earn, and how profitable it is to cooperate with them ...

The office was allegedly established back in 2012, and the official registration took place in 2018. During such a period, a lot of reviews about such a successful investment project should have accumulated, but there are practically none on the Web. The management does not say anything about itself. In the “Company” section, a fictitious success story is described, and all the pictures are taken from other sites.

According to the information obtained using the Whois service, the braveinvest.io website appeared in August 2021. Together with the meager number of reviews, this leads to the conclusion that the story about the start of work in 2018 is a lie.

BraveInvest is trying to convince potential victims that it has almost 6 thousand users already cooperating with it.

The HYIP project exists for a month and a half, and daily traffic does not exceed 49 users. However, not all of them decide to invest. The maximum possible number of clients who trust the financial pyramid is one and a half thousand, which means that it is deceiving in this as well.

The hero of our review actively uses bots: 43 thousand users are allegedly subscribed to his Instagram page, despite the fact that it was created in August 2021. With scanty attendance and a small number of reviews, it becomes clear that this figure is cheated.

In terms of contacts, BraveInvest claims to be “registered” in London. In support of this, the creators of the financial pyramid cite registration documents belonging to the Blockchain Investment Group organization. 

A check at Companies House showed that the Blockchain Investment Group was indeed registered in the UK in 2018, but its address is different from that indicated on the site.

An investment company is an independent legal entity, so it must have a separate registration. The audit showed that BraveInvest does not have it. A company with a similar name was found in the database, but it has nothing to do with the financial pyramid we are reviewing.

Licenses are rarely issued for operations with cryptocurrencies, since this activity is still poorly regulated, however, it is necessary to obtain permission to provide investment services. Financial licenses in the UK are issued by the FCA, and, judging by the reviews, scammers cannot get them, as the regulatory authority quickly calculates them. There is nothing strange in the fact that BraveInvest does not have permission.

In an attempt to deceive naive investors, the hero of our review placed a fake license of the Central Bank of Russia on the site.

Why is this document a fake? Firstly, it says that the issuing authority is the FFMS, and the date is March 14, 2018. However, at that time, the FFMS was no longer issuing any permits, as it was abolished in 2013. Secondly, under the indicated TIN in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, a completely different organization is listed. There is no information about BraveInvest in the database.

There is no information about the pyramid in the register of the domestic regulator either. In addition to financial fraud, the fake office also deals with forgery of documents.

To give themselves solidity, the scammers placed an agreement according to which the amount of insurance is $10 million. It does not bear the seal of the insurance company, and without it it is invalid. It is also doubtful that the sharashkin office will insure deposits at all. We are sure that this document is also a fake.

Analysis of investment proposals

BraveInvest offers to invest money for a month at 1.3-2% of profit per day. This is another sign of a financial pyramid, because such profitability is simply unrealistic. The following types of accounts are available to depositors:

Among their advantages, hypers call:

• a professional team (which is not mentioned on the official website);
• security of customer data (scammers were too lazy to even prescribe the “KYC Policy”);
• constant contests and promotions (naive investors are promised Tesla cars, electric scooters and cash prizes).

An invariable attribute of any HYIP project is an affiliate program. BraveInvest has it too. Users are offered to bring new victims, for which they can receive up to 7% from the amount of their deposits.

Also, scammers offer investors to write down laudatory reviews about them, for which they allegedly accrue bonuses to the account.

Real feedback about the project

There is a separate section on the BraveInvest site where user reviews are allegedly published. Real people write that only positive comments get there. Negative ones do not pass moderation, and the participants who leave them are completely blocked.

On the Web, the situation is different: not only are there few reviews, but they are also completely negative. 

What is the point of the scam?

BraveInvest has all the hallmarks of a second rate hype project:

• promises of unrealistic income, while no one shows the results of the company's activities;
• lack of permits;
• a referral program whose goal is to lure as many victims as possible into the pyramid;
• lack of data on leaders;
• paid reviews.

Like other financial pyramids, BraveInvest exists only on the money of investors. When it collapses, only the top will receive income, and all other investors will be left with a nose.

Our verdict

Investing in BraveInvest is dangerous: if you entrust it to scammers, you will not be able to return anything. Do not approach a scam gun shot and always check to whom you are transferring capital!
