Polygon Networks, Tokenology and MSP Recovery will launch a platform on the LifeChain blockchain to control health insurance services provided to socially vulnerable categories of citizens of the country.

LifeChain is being developed by MSP Recovery and Tokenology as a fully tokenized and biometrically protected system for monitoring the implementation of health insurance programs for people over 65 and medical care for those in need.

According to the developers, the blockchain will help solve problems such as the control of applications for medical care, access to medical history data, the identification of outdated technological processes, inefficiency of payments and the prevention of fraud in the provision of medical insurance services.

LifeChain will be integrated with the MSP Recovery consumer application, which is designed to provide stakeholders with access to medical records and healthcare resources. By 2024, the number of daily tokenized medical applications is expected to exceed 50 million.

In March, the US pharmaceutical company CVS Health announced that it plans to use blockchain, NFT and elements of the metaverse for sales in virtual pharmacies.
